If every household replaced one roll of regular toilet paper with one recycled post-consumer waste roll, 424,000 trees would be saved.

Hi There Greenies,

Thanks for coming to our meeting today.  We discussed some plans for the year, including our three main goals.
1. Ban plastic water bottles at the school. Promote the use of the hydration stations and reusable “greenteam” drink bottles.
2.Continue to post to the blog about our ideas and actions to share with our school and community.
3. Plan inspiring trips to some environmentally aware destinations (like The Planet restaurant and the solar farm in Peterborough).

Robin Scott, a Me to We Leader for our school came by with some information and support for our “ban bottled water” idea.

We all watched the “whale rescue” video together for a bit of afternoon inspiration.  We looking forward to meeting Angela Porteous November 1rst, to tell us about recyclables within the City of Kawartha Lakes.
